Rob Kang has a strong background in business development and real estate, and as a successful business owner.

Rob worked in Ottawa for the Minister of Industry and then worked for Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Canadian Heritage before joining the Minister of Infrastructure’s Office in the role of Special Assistant for the West and North.

During his time in government Rob gained invaluable experience, part of which is an understanding of the importance of businesses in economic development, which he brings to CCG with his business development expertise.

In 2006, Rob received his real estate license and has been practicing since then with Remax, having brokered over $200 million in real estate deals. Rob is the number two commercial realtor in Western Canada, and was second in the first quarter of 2014. He currently owns RNR Homes, which is building single-family homes in a subdivision in Beaumont, Alberta. Additionally, he manages a family business, which consists of Land Development and Construction. Currently Rob is working on the development of a 72-acre parcel of land, which is zoned medium industrial and industrial business. He is also currently working on 3200-acre annexation by the town of Beaumont with Leduc County, the Province of Alberta, and City of Edmonton.
